While backpackers tend to overnight bus and then rush this route in 3 days, we take a leisurely 8–10 days. We bypass the cheap hostels and stay in the region’s emerging boutique eco-lodges that offer stunning views and private amenities.

Highlights: The Ma Pi Leng Pass (one of the great roads of Asia), the Dong Van Karst Plateau, and deep cultural immersion with the Hmong and Dao people.

My partner doesn't ride. Can they come?

Absolutely. This is where our “Support Van” option shines. Your partner can travel in comfort in the air-conditioned private van, meeting us at every coffee stop and lunch spot, and enjoying the same spectacular views and hotels without being on the bike.

What is the quality of the hotels? Will there be AC and private bathrooms?

Yes. We understand that at the end of a riding day, comfort is non-negotiable. We strictly select the best available accommodation in each region—typically 3*+ boutique hotels, eco-resorts, or high-end private bungalows. All have private baths, AC/heating, and Wi-Fi.

How many hours a day are we actually in the saddle?

We aim for quality, not quantity. On a bespoke tour, we usually ride for about 4–5 hours per day (covering 150–200km). This leaves ample time for leisurely breakfasts, long lunches, photo stops, and arriving at the hotel by 4:00 PM to relax.

Can we add a few days at the beach or Ha Long Bay after the ride?

Do I need to bring my own helmet and gear?
