1. Payment Terms
1.1 Tour Deposit
- 1-3 Day Tours or 1-3 Riders: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your tour. The balance is due before the tour begins.
- 4+ Day Tours or 4+ Riders: A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before departure.
- Large Tours (10+ Riders): A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
- Please note: All tours are confirmed within 48 hours of receiving the deposit.
1.2 Currency
- Tour prices are quoted in either VND or USD.
- Any transaction fees or bank charges incurred during payment are the responsibility of the guest.
1.3 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer to our Vietnam account (details provided after booking confirmation).
- Credit card (a transaction fee of 3-5% applies).
- Cash (payments can be made at our Hanoi office prior to departure).
- International transfer services such as Wise to our Vietnam or UK bank account.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellation by Rentabike Vietnam
Tours are typically not cancelled due to weather conditions. However, in the rare event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances requiring complete cancellation, we will offer an alternative tour route or a rescheduled tour date.
2.2 Cancellation by Guests
1-3 Day Tours or 1-3 Riders:
- Within 24 hours of departure or after the tour has started: No refund (100% of the tour price will be charged).
- Within 7 days of departure: Deposit is non-refundable; a 50% refund of the tour price will be issued.
4+ Day Tours or 4+ Riders:
- Within 60 days of departure: Deposit is non-refundable.
- Within 30 days of departure: No refund for deposit or tour fee.
2.3 Refund Conditions
- Refunds are not provided for unused services (e.g., missed portions of the tour).
- If a customer terminates the tour early in a city other than the departure city, they are responsible for the transportation cost to return the motorcycle to the origin city.
3. Motorcycle and Gear Rental
3.1 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for motorcycle rentals:
- $500 USD for XR150
- $1,000 USD for CB500x/CRF300
- If the motorcycle is damaged, repair costs will be deducted from the deposit. If damages exceed the deposit amount, the customer is responsible for the remaining balance.
3.2 Riding Gear
- If any of the rental gear provided by Rentabike Vietnam is damaged, the customer will be required to pay the full cost of replacing the damaged item.
4. Early Trip Termination
- If a customer ends the tour early in a city other than the departure city, they are responsible for the cost of transporting the motorcycle back to our Da Nang office.
- Early trip termination does not entitle the customer to any refund for the unused portion of the tour.
5. Media Content
By participating in a tour with Rentabike Vietnam, the customer agrees that any media content (photos, videos, and audio) captured during the tour may be used for marketing purposes by Rentabike Vietnam.
6. Liability and Risk Acknowledgement
- Motorcycling carries inherent risks, including the potential for accidents and injuries. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to take part in the tour at your own risk.
- Rentabike Vietnam is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur during the tour.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Valid License: Customers must hold a valid motorcycle license suitable for the type of motorcycle being rented.
- Skill Level: Customers must possess the necessary skills to operate a motorcycle safely.
- Compliance: Customers are expected to follow the instructions of the tour leader and comply with all traffic laws and regulations in Vietnam.
8. Force Majeure
Rentabike Vietnam is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics. In such cases, we will attempt to offer alternative arrangements, but refunds are not guaranteed.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Vietnamese courts.
