Yamaha Mio [Expat Rental]
Our smallest automatic scooter. The Yamaha Mio is a good choice if you’re a beginner, or if you’re just looking for something to take you around town.
*For our Expat Rental Package we require proof you’re living here, in the form of a work permit and company address or a residence card.
*The minimum rental period is two months (60 days).
*Additionally, all Expat Rentals are subject to a mileage limit of 1,000km/month, and are limited to the city in which you rent the bike and its immediate vicinity. If you’re looking to travel farther afield please try a semi-automatic or manual bike on our Tourist Rental Package or, if you’re already renting from us, you can take advantage of our Short-Term Deal or our Holiday Deal.
The Yamaha Mio is our smallest automatic bike. It’s maneuverable and light enough to park easily, making it a great bike for beginners or people who are just looking for something to take them around town. It’s also surprisingly quick for its size and has a decent set of brakes, but it does lack the storage space of bikes like the massive Honda Lead, which can be a bit inconvenient if you’re going shopping or want to store your helmet under your seat.
Of course, if you’re looking to carry a pillion or some luggage you’d be better off with something a bit more powerful like the Honda Vision or the Honda Airblade: weighing down a bike as small as this can strain the engine.
