This tour takes you to some of the most important sites of the French Indochina War and then on up to Sa Pa and Fansipan. You’ll visit several key passes and battle sites and get the chance to visit the Dien Bien War Museum. After that, you’ll head north to the hill station Sa Pa and have the chance to summit Fansipan the highest mountain in Vietnam.
The main aim of this tour is to skirt along Vietnam’s northern border with China and to visit the mountainous karst region. Along the way, you will see a large number of different ethnic tribal people at markets and also going about their daily life. You will venture high into the mountains where it can be quite cold and even snow. All in all, this is a great tour for anyone seeking to visit the less visited places in northern Vietnam.
Visit the national parks and the lakes in the northern region. We have a couple of free days that allow us to see the sights in a couple of places so this trip is not all riding. On these free days, we can arrange riding or other activities such as boating, visiting some sights/caves and it can be a welcome rest for any sore spots. A lot of history and interesting places are seen on this tour so it’s one for those who like to learn a lot.
The main aim of this tour is to get from Hanoi to Sa Pa. Along the way we take in some of the most scenic routes in northern Vietnam. We call it Cloud Hunter due to the number of times you will find yourself above cloudbase looking at a blanket of white clouds below you. We pass through several nature reserves and more isolated areas where you will only see local people. The riding is not easy but it is fun and helps work up a good thirst 🙂
This tour takes us halfway down the country and past some of the most interesting Vietnam War sites as well as through some of the pristine jungle that is left on the old Ho Chi Minh Trail. This is a great tour for anyone who is interested in military history and also for those who are up for some fun in the caves of Phong Nha. We can spend time in historical Hue and then the majestic Hai Van Pass or opt for more jungle riding by way of P’Rao in the highlands. All in all, 8 days that you will never forget.
This is a tour that offers the best Vietnam has to offer in terms of motorbiking, scenery and ethnic culture. Ha Giang is known for being the ‘top’ province in Vietnam and we spend a good deal of time up there. We get to visit some fabulous historic sites, see some stunning views and hang out in some very chilled spots. All whilst experiencing a vastly different culture to our own.
