Rented a Honda Wave from Rentabike,it was easy to use and I never had any break downs or problems with the bike. I have rented from a variety of bike shops in Hanoi and Rentabike has been by far the most reliable. When returning the bike I received my deposit in full and the owner was kind enough not to charge me for cleaning the bike. I would highly recommend this bike shop

From the moment i send trough a rental request and the quick reply to the moment i picked up the honda xr I had a good experience and feeling with rent a bike. The xr 150 was in perfect condition,didn t consume much,had plenty of power and was comfortable. Can highly reccomend!

I rented a Honda Wave from Rent-A-Bike for 2 years. The reason why it was for 2 years is not because I live here, but because they took care of me. Any issues I had they came to me, wherever I was in Hanoi, and helped to take care of it. They gave the bikes regular checks. Particularly helpful when language barriers are an issue if you go to a mechanic yourself. They are genuinely a great group of people who work there and I would happy go back to them again if I need to. I only gave my bike back because I was gifted a bike from my partner. Otherwise I would still be renting from them. Great job guys! Keep doing what you do.

Danny and his team made my holiday in Vietnam. I initially only planned on riding for one week but I extended my trip to three weeks as my bike was great and the support and tips I got from the office opened up parts of the country I would not have thought about venturing into otherwise. The deposit being immediately refunded when I returned the bike was the icing on the cake. Safe and reliable outfit. Highly recommend.

Service ok – bike terrible We rented two Honda XR 150 ccm for one week. Service and correspondence before the rental was fine. On the pickup in Ho Chi Minh City we got very disappointed. The guy did not know anything about the bikes. All our questions were answered with “I don’t know”. One of the bikes was ok. The other was a disaster. Nearly 200.000 km on the clock. Front shock absorbers were leaking oil and not working. Ball bearing in steering also broken. Both tires were down to the tread. This meant that any little bump on the road resulted in a very load and distinct KLONK. Not a suitable bike for riding half across Vietnam. We did – only because we did not have any other options. There is no way that this bike would pass any inspection in any country. I have been riding motorbike for 42 years and driving in Peru, Nepal, Route 66, Australia and all over Europe. Never had worse bike. As an extra issue to be aware of. They charged us US$ 1000 as a deposit which was paid by credit card adding another $20. On returning the bikes you get your $1000 in cash and unless you are from the US, you lose quite a sum on the exchange rate.

This is one of very few shop in Hanoi, which still rents out the Honda Supercub. Must shops consider the engine to weak to be interesting for tourists. And they could not be more wrong. The Supercub is a sturdy bike, with a maximal speed above 60 km/h (which is the speed limit out of towns). It is even strong enough to bring a single driver plus luggage uphill at a descent speed. And you are legally allowed to ride this bike (and other 50 cc bike) without an driving license. Rentabikevn offers hustle free services. All the paper work is in English. The business offers insurance against damage and theft at reasonable rate. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Am looking forward to rent their bikes again.

I was trying to rent a bike for the second time with Rentabike Vietnam. This time i informed them i was looking for 1 month rent since the person who will visit me will spend 29 days in Hanoi. To my surprise they said it was not possible because they normally rent on a minimum 2 months period. Last time i rent i did accept because this very same person came to visit me for 5 weeks (so i accepted to rent for 2 months and have the bike on my garage picking up dust for 3 weeks), now this time i am applying just for a month, but it was not possible. So i guess they prefer to loose a 1 month customer than having the possibility of the bike not getting rented for few months? What kind of business thinking is this?. Well, i’m sad to say that even though i was quite happy with the service and the friendly staff, they just won 1 customer less(out of 4 i’ve read on HN Massive).

Amazing service from these guys. I love my fully automatic bike, and it was awesome that I got a free lesson with it. I recently had an experience where my bike wouldn't start at 11pm, and Danny and his colleagues had someone collect and fix the bike at 8.30 the following morning. I would recommend this service to everyone.

These guys are great. I love my wee bike, so yesterday when it wouldn't start after nearly two months of being awesome I couldn't believe it. I called Rentabike, and right away they arranged to have someone swap my bike for another, which I kept while they fixed mine good as new. Then they brought my bike back to my home. From when I first rented (they helped me pick a bike that was right for my needs, ability/experience, and budget) and they gave me a riding lesson through to this recent experience, Rentabike has been great. I'd definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

My mom and I rented 2 bikes in Ha Giang to travel around the North East and we remain positively surprised by the quality of their service! At the last minute I asked if we could keep the bike an extra day, no problem. On the second day, the bikes wouldn't start because it got very cold up in the mountains. Again, no problem. I called them, Thu talked to the hotel staff who was also very helpful and got the bike to start. One night we got lost in the mountains and ended up staying with a family for the night. Out of options I called Thu and she spoke to the family, and explained the situation. Thanks to her, we spent a unique night in a mountain family somewhere in Ha Giang province. They are reliable, always available on the phone or via Whatsapp, and provided much more than just 2 bikes for a week. They gave us advice and recommendations, and rented us 2 (almost) brand new bikes that we had no trouble at all using in rough conditions up in the mountains. As a foreigner, I felt comfortable and confident using their services and their bikes. The staff at Giang Son were great, very helpful, friendly and understanding when we returned the bikes with a broken mirror. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and would rent from them again. Thu and Danny, thank you again for your high-quality and reliable customer service, and for making our trip to Northern Vietnam go as smooth as possible. Sarah
